First experience tour of 2022: Casoli is in our hearts.
We looked at the incredible progress at Palazzo Ricci walking inside the different residences.
Then we had lunch at the amazing Ristorante Fiore and a lovely walk around Casoli, thanks to the Vice Sindaco who literally opened the doors to some gems of the town.

Abruzzo offers so many activities!
We started day 2 of the Experience Tour visiting the medieval Castello di Roccascalegna (15 minutes away from Palazzo Ricci).
Then we had an authentic Abruzzese cooking experience preparing the pizza scima (little pizzas without any yeast, very fragrant and tasty) and the pallotte cacio e ove, cheeseballs made with cheese and eggs…delicious!
We enjoyed the views at Abbazia di San Giovanni in Venere, one of the most romantic spots in the Chieti province.
We ended the day visiting the breathtaking Pennapiedimonte and enjoying an aperitivo at La Macina, a bar literally built in the rocks, amazing!
